Bill Shields is a native of Bay County and has roots here that run very deep. His family owned and operated Superior Dry Cleaners for 69 years in here in Panama City. Not many people in town are more well known than Bill. He is married to Lynette Shields who is also a native here and has been teaching in the Bay District School System for over 35 years.
Bill is an avid outdoorsmen and loves all sports but does have quite the obsession with the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was a successful collegiate basketball player at Huntington University in the late 1970’s and had quite the high school career at A.C. Mosley High School in their early years.
